Floor insulation
In the design and construction of refrigerated cells, particular attention must be given to the stratigraphy of the flooring, with regard to:
- Compressive strength – must support the weight of shelving, forklifts and pallets
- Insulation – combined with correct ventilation or the use of electric heating mats, correct insulation of the floor using special insulated panels guarantees protection against the formation of condensation or ice.
