The nytrogen
N2 generator or oxygen reducer, can be quickly
applied to the cold rooms that are prearranged in controlled atmosphere,
decreasing the percentage of O2 from 21 vol.%
to less than 3 vol.%.
The propane or butane gas coming from special containers is conveyed towards
a proportional volumetric batching plant, that blends it with air.
The resulting mixture will be transferred into a combustion chamber where
it will be burned. The produced gas that will arrive from it after it
has been cooled with running water, will be pushed through special pipes
into the room. The introduced mixture contains 86% N2,
a 13% of CO2 and not more than 1% of O2.
This will cause a constant washing and an outflow of the air from the
room by means of a special valve.
|
|
Consequently
a progressive impoverishment of the oxygen value contained in the room
will take place. The machine is able to mantain the characteristics of
the mixture produced independently from the variation of pressure and
of the flow rate of gas and air.
The electric equipment that controls it, is provided with all the required
safety systems for gas systems and with equipment blocking systems to
prevent any kind of failure; lack of gas; lack of cooling water; faults
of combustion and backfire.
ADVANTAGES
Quick decrease
of oxygen percentage wihin the room after it has been shut.
High percentage of introduced steam, being the steam produced during the
combustion.
Irrelevant unburnt gas residuals, amount to less than 0,001%.
