An extremely important item for achieving controlled atmosphere is given by the necessity of finding, in a most simple and safe way, the percentage values which are created in the preserving cells. ISOLGAS has produced a series of instruments able to follow around the clock the value changes in the refrigerator cells. The instrument for detecting carbon dioxide in percentage values is based on infrared rays, with very fast response, with analog or digital indicators. The oxygen analyser is absolutely reliable, with the possibility of various reading scales. This machinery can be combined with an electronic system which allows complete automatic functioning of the whole plant of controlled atmosphere.

Thus it will be possible to control the CO2- adsorbers, the adding of oxygen in the various cells, the use of the nitrogen generator, checking and regulation of the temperature and the relative humidity. From the portable computer it will be possible to retrieve history data on all the controlled entities, with the various graphics shown by printing. The analyser can be placed at any distance from the cells, since it is furnished with a patent system which ensures an almost instant response between the air of the cell and the registered values.
