Flooring
In the design and construction of refrigerated cells, particular attention must be paid to the structure of the flooring, which must be adequate in terms of:
- Load - must support the weight of racks, bins, pallets etc. of the most varied products
- Insulation - proper insulation of the floor guarantees
- Protection against the formation of "Icebergs" - through proper ventilation or the use of electric heating mats
The floor of cold rooms or food industries must be able to withstand low temperatures and any freeze and thaw cycles, heavy traffic of forklifts and transpallets and must be easy to clean.
